Course

Immersion or homestay students are completely integrated into the host family environment. There are no organised academic programmes or courses for this type of stay.  They do not attend school or private tutorial classes at all. Learning is done naturally through communication and daily exchange with all members.The student does what the family do on a day to day basis as part of the entire experience. This type of stay suits host families that have a parent or adult free from work commitments outside the home, and have the patience and time to spend with a young foreign guest. Due to the nature of Immersion, particular care is given to selecting the right family for each student. Attention is paid to student's specific interests, hobbies and preferences. Host families are as diverse as the students who come to us. We have vast experience of facilitating rocket scientists and skateboarders, horse riders and couch potatoes. Immersion is a very effective way to rapidly improve language levels and confidence and to make long term friends.

Activities​

Host families are required to organise and supervise one full day cultural excursions, such as trips to museums or tourist attractions plus two  local half day activities per week. All entrance fees are paid by them.Host families are obliged to do a minimum of one full day excursion, such as a trip to a museum or tourist attraction with two local half day trips and one exercise activity per week.
